Photographic Print. Orange and black Koi fish under Water Lily leaf in a pond, Holetown, Barbados, Caribbean.
The Koi, pond leaves and reflections form decorative patterns in the water garden. Although the Carp fish is moving, disappearing under Water Lily leaves, the photograph has a tranquility due to the hazy water in the Koi pond. The word Koi comes from Japanese, meaning Carp, including the dull grey fish and the
brightly colored species of ornamental fish. What are known as Koi in English are
referred to more specifically in Japan as Nishikigoi, meaning coloured Carp.
Colours are as accurate as possible but may differ slightly due to screen calibrations.Shipping outside UK mainland is estimated, on occasion a variation will be emailed before dispatch.Images printed at a Fuji approved professional laboratory on highest quality archive papers, Fuji Crystal or DP 2.
