Photographic Print. Stone lion statue lying regally amongst the Hydrangeas in a sun haze at Portmeirion.

He was a champion for the preservation of rural Britain and a Chairman of the Council for the Rural Protection of Wales and helped to develop Greenbelt to stop towns and villages sprawling. Something which now needs protecting again today.
