Photographic Print. Black horse. Mexican César Chávez Holiday Festival Parade on 24th Street. Mission. San Francisco.
This black horse and Mexican cowboy in white were a striking sight in the Mexican Festival Parade on 24th Street in the Mission. It was lucky I decided to go to St. Francis Fountain diner on 24th Street and came out and saw the parade. St. Francis opened in 1918 as a classic soda fountain, serves diner fare, milkshakes, it still seemed an authentic diner when I experienced it but now serves vegan food aswell. The parade celebrates the life of César Chávez.
