The stone angel was only revealed 5 months after I moved in, hidden under Brambles and Ivy. Whether it was Beryl or Ernie who designed the garden and collected statues, they provided me with a lot of photo opportunities. Weeks of photographing the pond, Buddha, resin dog and Roses, her departing pink post it note, a white glass sphere light set in a green wall of Brambles, a greenhouse almost covered with them, inside it and above it from the back drive. A tiny red light often appeared, the sun capturing and highlighting the red of the Roses. Slowly I am restoring the garden, removing dead wood, including pulling out old sawn dead branches, retaining treasures and design, embellishing it with new design.
