Photographic Print. Still life of Dog waiting by the steps with carmine red Roses, stone Rabbit, lantern and Ivy.
One day I noticed how beautiful the faded carmine colour of the Roses and lantern colours were in the golden low setting sun and how the Daisy flowers became like white stars so I had to photograph the scene. Even though the dog is only resin, it is emotive and full of life somehow. The previous owner Beryl was devoted to her 3 dogs, I think they died before she did and I have found 2 dog graves with crosses so far but it seemed fitting to photograph a dog sat waiting for her. This one was actually in this odd position by the steps of the greenhouse.
