Cactus and Stars Mum and Dad. This
collage is based on a Mexican tin decoration which I made for my mum and dad one year as a Christmas card. I used sequins and jewels for the stars and Cactus flowers. The stars are in the sky and around the base making the Cactus special.
Milagros adorn the church walls
of Mexico, the small silver or gold votive offering in the shape of
body parts, animals, foods and houses. Milagros would have traditionally
been given to a saint with hope or to give thanks for a prayer
answered.
Giclée prints are professionally printed on high quality fine textured acid free 270 gsm fine art paper.
