Flowers & Stars Cascading in the Mexican Desert at Midnight. The gouache painting swimwear textile design is a result of looking at the logo and mysterious, slightly mystical looking landscapes of Desert magazine from the 1950s and 1960s, my training in floristry, Mexican tin decorations and enjoying the imagery of Mexican Day of the Dead in San Francisco. The idea of flowers fading but shining brightly in the moonlight, cascading in a lush velvet blue with stars and perhaps, the Castillian roses in the desert picked by the Mexican boy after he saw the vision of Guadalupe.

This is a Limited Edition Series of 75 but may be purchased as a
Swimwear Textile Design. Purchasing this print does not allow reproduction as a textile design without discussion of cost and permission.
