Photographic Print. Doc's Clock Cocktails dive bar neon cocktail glass retro sign on Mission Street, Mission, San Francisco.
I photographed this cocktail bar on Mission Street at the end of 22nd Street but it is now at 2577 Mission Street. They fought to keep the name and moved the iconic neon sign to its new venue. It is an eclectic dive bar and has arcade games including retro Pac man and a jukebox. The bars in this part of Mission District are worth a look at night; they seem lively and colourful. The Make Out Room at Mission Street is a 1950's style bar with candles, fairy lights, a glitter ball and garlands which despite being dusty, make me think I am at the 'Enchantment Under The Sea' dance in 'Back To The Future'. Revolution Café has an old European café bar feel with candles and a lively atmosphere, bands play jazz and blues most nights.
Colours are as accurate as possible but may differ slightly due to screen calibrations.
