Photographic print. Three lights and an oculo surround the cross and altar in the white chapel at Laigueglia Cemetery.
The late afternoon light spread beautiful shafts of light through the oculo into the white chapel interior which was also lit by three lights and a chandelier. Oculi are often found in Italian churches and chapels. Seven iron candle holders stood on the grey marble altar in front of the crucifix. Laigueglia is near Alassio in Liguria on the Italian Riviera.
Colours are as accurate as possible but may differ slightly due to screen calibrations.
