These striking pillars edge the steps cascading down each side of the monument in Lancaster, England. The building was commissioned by Sir Lord Ashton as a tribute to his
late wife, designed by John Belcher in the Edwardian Baroque style and built in 1907 - 1909. The folly was built in Portland stone with a copper dome.
